WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The 2022-23 USCAA President’s Cup awards were presented to the top three in the final standings on Monday at the USCAA National Convention.
The President’s Cup is given to the member institution that achieves the highest academic point total for the year. Rankings include: individual sport GPA, with the USCAA considering the top five from each institution, the overall department GPA and finally the number of student-athletes named to the National All-Academic teams.
3rd Place - Penn State Mont Alto - Athletic Director, Staci Brennan
- Top 5 Athletic teams average a 3.498
- Total program GPA is 3.3
- Had 35 National All-Academic award winners this season
2nd Place – Carlow University - Director of Athletics, Lou Zadecky
- Top 5 Athletic teams average a 3.51 highlighted by Women’s Soccer with a 3.75
- Total program GPA is 3.34
- Had 44 National All-Academic award winners
Presidents Cup Champion - Christendom College - Athletic Director Patrick Quest
- Top 5 Athletic teams average a 3.58 highlighted by Women’s Basketball with a 3.8
- Total program GPA is 3.4
- Had 41 National All-Academic award winners this season
